Understanding climate
for the benefit of society

Jakob Dörr

I am an oceanographer working at the Geophysical Institute. I studied Meteorology in Hamburg. In my PhD, I studied the present and future drivers of Arctic sea-ice variability. I am interested in sea ice, polar oceanography, air-sea-ice interactions and large-scale climate variability in high latitudes.
