Understanding climate
for the benefit of society

Wanyee Wong

I am currently studying the sea ice dynamics and their role in understanding climate variations during the Dansgaard-Oeschger events. These events, which took place in the Last Glacial Period, could provide us with valuable insights into the ocean-ice-atmosphere interactions.

My goal is to understand the driving mechanisms of abrupt climate shifts and their potential implications for our comprehension of contemporary climate change.

On top of my science work, I am also interested in photography.

My name Wanyee Wong, can also be written Yunyi Wang
