Title of the seminar talk: Weather Forecasting for Energy Applications

Abstract:

The seminar will present recent NCAR led weather forecast applications for renewable energy. In particular, it will focus on the challenges in developing integrated systems to nowcast and forecast for wind and solar energy.  Examples of successful systems for wind and solar energy will be described.
